About this eDPI Calculator

This calculator helps you calculate and find your eDPI (effective dots per inch) for any game. Simply enter your basic inputs and the calculator will instantly calculate and display your results.

How to Use this Calculator

To use the calculator, first select your game sensitivity type: decimal or percentage. If you’re unsure which type to select, simply open the game you want to calculate for, find your sensitivity in the settings, and check whether it’s a decimal/whole number or percentage-based sensitivity.

After selecting the sensitivity type, enter your in-game sensitivity for that specific game and your mouse DPI. You’ll then see your calculated eDPI result highlighted in the calculator.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective dots per inch) measures your true game sensitivity by multiplying game sensitivity and DPI together. The formula for calculating effective dots per inch is: eDPI = sensitivity * DPI

eDPI is important because it makes comparing sensitivity speeds easier. Instead of using two separate figures, it simplifies and combines them into one easy-to-understand sensitivity value. With eDPI, higher numbers mean faster speeds, while lower numbers indicate slower speeds.

Note that eDPI varies between games, meaning your eDPI in one game may not be the same as in another game.
